shall be rewarded
"A faithful man shall abound with blessings, but he that maketh haste to rich shall not be innocent."Proverbs 28:20
It is very encouraging to read in scriptures that the faith shall be rewarded. In this world, most of the time we get discouraged by being faithful. Are you in agony just because you were sincere in your work you have been tormented by others. Does your boss not recognize your work even though you work so hard. How many times have you felt that even God does not look at my plight. You have a good news today. Do not worry, our God is a great. He says to you today that he has kept an account of all your good deeds. You shall surely be rewarded.
We have several examples in Bible which shows how the faithful were blessed.
First, let us analyze the life of Joseph. He was most loved son of his father. This made his brothers hate him. Although his brothers sold him, seeing his sincerity Pothiphar his boss made him overseer of his house (Genesis 39:2-4). His story did not end like that. Pothiphars wife enticed him for sin but Joseph fearing God ran away from the scene. Just because he refused to acquiesce with Pothiphars wife to sin he put into prison. What did Joseph do to deserve this kind of treatment. Do you think God forgot Joseph. No, God was all along shaping him for the greater glory which was kept in store for him. Joseph did not say, "Alright it is no use being faithful, but for following the path of the wicked as they alone can survive in this world". God did not forget Joseph, He lifted him up to be the second in the kingdom of Pharaoh. There may be circumstances which suggest faithfulness does not pay. But the Bible says, you will be blessed.
There are also other examples in Bible, where the faithful are rewarded.
In the case of Moses, when his brother and sister accuse him of infidelity, he kept quiet. But God did not remain silent instead He himself spoke on behalf of Moses saying "HHHHHHHHHHe was faithful in all mine house" (Numbers 12:7, Hebrews 3:2-5). There is a God watching your every deeds and motives. Sometimes you might patiently bear the insult of others. But God will act on behalf of you.
David waxed in fame as the Lord was with him (I Samuel 5:10). Be faithful to the Lord and he shall lift you up too. In every words and deeds God should be your faithfulness to him. David was protected by God wherever he went (II Samuel 8:6,14). You need not be afraid of the traps on your way. If God be for you who can be against you (Romans 8:31)
In case if your ways are not satisfactory before God change yourself. Analyze yourself today and leave the things which ought to and do the things which please God.
May the Lord give you the grace to depart from evil and lead a holy life today and forever.
May the Love of the Father, grace of His son, Jesus Christ and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with us all.If you are blessed by this message kindly let us know, that we praise God together at firstname.lastname@example.org
