"I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth " Exodus: 34:10 (KJV)
The coming of the King

"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having Salvation…." Zechariah 9:9

This is the season of Christmas. We celebrate Christmas to flaunt the birth of Jesus Christ into this world. He came to the earth to save the sinners, heal the sick, deliver the people from their bondage, and to bring peace and happiness. Those who believe and trust him enjoy these privileges. Therefore, it is for us to tell others to accept Christ and receive the same peace in their life too.

Christ came into this world to save sinners

The Bible says, Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners (I Timothy 1:15). Who are sinners? Everyone who is born in this world is a sinner. No one can claim that I have not sinned. Our words, deeds and actions are witness to that. King David says in Psalms 51:5, "Behold I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me". This means that sin is endemic in humans from his very existence. Humans are entrapped in the chords of sin. However, Jesus came into this world not to adjudge you as sinners but to say "I love you". It is written in scriptures that "In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace". Let us take courage in Jesus Christ and ask him to forgive our sins and become his sons and daughters.

Christ came into this world to deliver you out of the evil works

The Bible says "And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom". In Scriptures, we read about Job, who was afflicted with pain and agony. His friends who came to visit him found that his grief was very great (Job 2:13). Such was his agony, but the Lord delivered him and gave him double portion everything he lost. Once the disciples of Jesus Christ while going by a boat with Jesus was tossed by storm. They immediately cried out "Lor, save us, we are perishing". Jesus got up and calmed the storm. You may also be one among those whose life is tossed about by storms of fear, sickness, debts, evil people, etc. Accept Jesus as your savior, he will bring peace into your life.

Christ came into this world to give salvation to you

It is not the will of God that anyone should perish. He wants to save everyone from their bondage of sin and make them live a righteous life. Only those who are righteous before God can go to heaven. Jesus says I am the way, the truth and the life. No man can go to Father except through me (John 14:6). There was a short man called Zacchaeus who wanted to see Jesus . He climbed up a sycamore tree to see Him. But Jesus who already knew the heart of Zacchaeus came to the foot of tree and said , "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house". Later Jesus said, "Today salvation has come to this house" (Luke 19:1–9). The same Jesus who knows you even before your birth calls out to you, make haste and come to me because salvation is coming to your house.

Christ came into this world to bear our infirmities

In Isaiah 53:5, we read "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him. And by his stripes we are healed". Keep your burdens at the feet of Jesus, he will take away your burdens. Do not go around carrying them telling everyone your friends, parents or spouses, instead let Jesus know about it. He will not break your confidentiality, but give deliverance from the problem, whatever it may be.

As we have read above, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your heart this Christmas that he may give you a happy and peaceful Christmas.
