"I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth " Exodus: 34:10 (KJV)
The obedient will eat the fruit of the land

"If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land." Isaiah 1:19

The goal to come up in life has made most of us to put all our efforts in what we do. Are these efforts duly rewarded? Most often the concerted efforts bring disappointments than any real fruits. The Lord says to you, if you are willing to listen and obey what I say then I would make you enjoy the efforts of your hand.

In Bible, we read about Jacob, who once was a deceiver and ran away from his house clutching his dear life in fear of his brother. Soon, he learned to depend on God for everything. The Lord also blessed him so much that he said, "I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which you have shown your servant for I crossed over this Jordan with my staff, and now I have become two companies" (Genesis 32:10). Same thing would happen to you if you believe in Jesus and accept him as your savior. He will look after your chores. Jacob was blessed with the dew of heaven, of fatness of the earth and plenty of grain and wine. Penury will not enter your premises. The poverty may not necessarily mean lack of wealth but it may be lack of love, care, affection, knowledge or resources.

When God promised Jacob to take care of him and be with him wherever he goes, Jacob took a vow saying, Lord I will pay tenth of whatever I get (Tithe). That was the determination Jacob had to receive God’s blessing. It is our duty to pay Tithe to God as he has blessed you and give food and shelter and protected you all these days. If you do not have the habit of paying the tithe, start doing it now and see a change in your life. Malachi 3:10 says, "Brings all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house and try me now in this. Says the Lord of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it". Why not try this and see what happens.

Lord’s blessings are open to us too. He will give us a good land with no dearth for food or water (Deuteronomy 8:7–10; 11:11–18; 26:19; 4:7,8; Ezekiel 20:6; Isaiah 49:3; turn your bibles and read these verses of blessings. It will encourage you). As stated before, if you would listen to him, all the above blessings will become yours. He will also set you high above all which he has made, in praise, in name and in honor, and that you may a holy people to the Lord your God, just as has spoken. Jesus wants to bless so that you may lead a holy life and be the holy people for him.

May God bless you.
