surely visit you
" God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob."Genesis 50:2426
Joseph was the most favored son of Jacob. He had 12 sons. He showed special interest on Joseph. His brothers did not like it. They tried to kill him. But God saved him. He in turn saved his brothers during famine. At the time of his death, Joseph says, "God will surely visit you and bring out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob" (Genesis 50:24). The first half of Josephs life was filled with perils and tumult caused by his own brothers and others due to envy. The people around him did not like his honesty or integrity instead tried to harm him. This world does not like honesty. Many people ask why am I being targeted when I am truthful in my workplace or loyal to my spouse. I work so hard for my company but my hardwork is never recognized only my faults are exaggerated. What do I do? is there no remedy for it. Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Jesus tells you today I will surely visit you. Your truthfulness are accounted before me. It is written in Psalms 56:8 that he numbers your wanderings, puts your tears into his bottle they are all written in his book. The tears you shed everyday at his feet, for your health, your families welfare, for your companys growth or for neighbors salvation will not go waste. Jesus has kept an account of them, he will answer them. This months promise for you is that God will surely visit you and listen to your woes and answer them.
The people around us may do evil for us. Joseph also faced a similar situation, but he bore no grudge but took it positively and said, "but as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good , in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive". Jesus expects the same from you too. Bear no grudge against anyone but pray for them. The evil they design will be made advantageous for you.
At the time of death, Joseph made the children of Israel to promise to carry his bones when they reach Canaan. Moses was a man who keeps promises. He remembered the promise and carried the bones of Joseph when they left Egypt (Exodus 13:19). God likes people who keeps promise. He honored the words of Moses before Pharaoh (Exodus 8:13,31). There are also other examples in Bible, which suggests that God honors the words of his servant.
If you want God to honor your words, always keep the Lord before your eyes. Ask yourself what is in front of your eyes. Is it your bank balance, house, business, or children. Psalmist says,I have set the Lord always before me (Psalms 16:8). Give first priority to God in everything you do and see the Lord bless your life.
There is another important thing which you ought to follow. Keep silence. The Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14). Also Deuteronomy 1:30says "the Lord your God, who goes before you will fight for you". "For the Lord your God is he who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies , to save you (Deuteronomy 20:4). This month the Lord promises to fight for you. You are so helpless and cry to God who will fight for my cause. The Lord has heard your prayers, he says he will fight for you and you shall see it. He is the Lord of the helpless and destitutes he can speak to the hearts of the people and get you judgement which the court and others failed to get it. Be bold and trust in the Lord always and stick on to his commandments.
May the Lord bless you.If you are blessed by this message kindly let us know, that we praise God together at firstname.lastname@example.org
