"I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth " Exodus: 34:10 (KJV)
The choice is yours

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:13,14

Jesus Christ came into this world to redeem us from our sinful ways and to give us unspeakable peace and joy. Through Adam all of us became sinners and cursed. Christ took this curse upon Him to make us blessed. Christ came into this world to deliver us from the bondage of sins and give us the power to lead a life controlled by God’s love. Today, God gives you the option to choose either blessing or curse.

Adam listened to the words of Eve and ate the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden. Due to this both of them were cursed by God (Genesis 3:12-15). If you want to be delivered from that curse obey the Lord’s commandments and do according to them. If we do not obey them we would also become a cursed lot. Decide today to follow his statutes that would bring blessing to us and our children.

In Bible, we read about Isaac and Rebecca. They had two sons. Father loved the first son, Esau, and mother loved the second son, Jacob. Isaac wanted to bless Esau before he dies. Rebecca was a wise lady. She wanted Jacob to be blessed in place of Esau. She teaches Jacob to deceive his father and get the blessing. Although Jacob was blessed his life became miserable in many ways. He had to run away from his home because Esau wanted to kill him for stealing his blessings. Further, he had to work hard for 14 years to marry his uncle’s daughters. He was cheated by his uncle several times and finally fled from his uncle too. On reading this passage in Bible (Genesis 27-29 chapters), we find that it is because of the partiality of the parents that the children had to suffer. This curse can be seen in many houses even today. Learn to treat your children equally. Otherwise, you will sowing the seeds of hatred between the siblings and their life will never be happy. There should be no discrimination between the children.

It is a curse if you do not restrain your children when they are young. In Bible, we read about Eli and his sons. Eli was a priest but his sons did abominable things before God. The Lord said " For I have told him (Eli) that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knows, because his sons made themselves vile and he did not retrain them" (I Samuel 3:13). Children who are not bridled at their young age would be a pain for their parents when they grow up. Ask God to give you wisdom in bringing them up. Guide them to choose their friends without being a nosy parent. More than all the goodies or things you can buy shower them with your love and give them your time. Be a good example for them. The husband and wife relationship should teach your children the family values. Above introduce Jesus into their life even before they can say "Mama" or "Papa".

We are worshipping a living God, the Lord who created the heaven and the earth. Despite having this knowledge some go after other gods or cults when they get into trouble. It is shame for you to do so. Do you think your Jesus cannot save you from your problems. First analyze yourself why you are into such a situation. Is your ways pleasing before God. If it is not then turn from your sins and confess your sins. He is eagerly waiting for you to return to Him.

Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known (Deuteronomy 11:28).

Do you sometimes wonder that why your is cursed and whatever you do becomes futile. It is a curse from God if you are being wicked. Wickedness may be in the way you speak, your actions or thoughts. Confess to God and ask the Lord to help you become just. The Bible says, "The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the just"
(Proverbs 3:33).

Remember the poor and needy always. Let them also have a part in your life. Give to poor what you can. It may be money, food, used things or anything. You can also help out the elderly by lending a hand in doing their routine or taking them to a hospital. When you do this you will be blessed. You will lack nothing. He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have may curses (Proverbs 28:27).

Finally, I would like to quote one more thing if you want to be blessed. Bible says. "When you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just" (Luke 14: 13,14). Many of us invite our friends and give them party to celebrate your birthday, promotion, and so on. This time when you plan something remember to keep a portion to those in need. Because this is the true they will not be able to repay you but bless you with all their heart.

In the above passage, I have explained to ways to obtain blessing and eschew curses. The choice is yours. You can choose either blessing or curse. This message is specifically coming to you. I pray to God that you would choose blessing and lead a full life.

May the Lord bless you, your family and the efforts of your hands.
