"I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth " Exodus: 34:10 (KJV)
Lord Hide You In The Secret Of His Tabernacle

"For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion. In the secret place of His tabernacle. He shall hide me. He shall set me high upon a rock." Psalms 27:5

Safety and security are becoming elusive in this fast moving world. Father yearns for a secure job, children yearns for a secure future, industrialists yearns for a secure market, and so on. Yet we all realize the transience of this life. For the children of God security is directly proportional to closeness with God.

King David struggled all through his life. Despite that he was a exuberant in the Lord. He declared his faith in God in Psalm 27. He was determined in following God through his trials and tribulation. He was surrounded by enemies, both internal and external, most part of his life. This did not deter him from following rather it made him come closer to God. He said, "Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident (Psalms 27:3). These trials are meant to bring us closer to God. When we are closer to God we shall take victory over the spiritual warfare.

Trials taught David to wait on the Lord. Lead me in your truth and teach me. For you are the God of my salvation. On you I wait all the day (Psalms 25:5). He was confident that God would redeem him from all this. In our trials, we should lean on God He would rescue us from all worries.

To overcome the insecure feeling, we should feel secure in God. The confidence which we have in God will provide us with the necessary to face the world. Confidence in God comes through waiting for God. David says, "Wait on the Lord. Be of good courage. And he shall strengthen your heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord" (Psalms 27:14). Our hearts should always yearn for His presence (Psalms 26:8). We should have the fear in God within us. Because fear of God will prevent us from doing evil and unholy acts.

When we have confidence in God, then we can say, "My head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me. Therefore, I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord (Psalm 27:6)".

This message is meant, especially, for those who feel insecure in their work environment, family and among their friends. May the Lord boost your confidence level. He is with you to take care of your future.

May God bless you.
