searching for you
For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10
Jesus came into this world to seek and save the sinners. He wants to help them lead a righteous life. Today, He is searching for you.
God created Adam and Eve to serve Him. Instead of obeying his command, they ate the forbidden fruit. In the cool evening, God came searching for Adam and Eve. They could not come before Him due to their sins and so they hid themselves in the bushes. This incident shows that God, inspite of knowing that they have committed sin came in search of them. He does not want to pounce on them but came calling them gently. Today the same Lord is calling you to reveal yourself to Him. However, great may be your sin He is still gracious to forgive them and give you a blessed life.
If a shepherd has 100 sheeps and loses one sheep, what would he do? Will he not leave his 99 sheeps and go in search of his one lost sheep. The lost sheep is a disobedient sheep which did not listen to its masters voice but went on its own way. Despite it, wont the shepherd go in search of the lost sheep. When he finds it, he will be very happy and put it on his shoulder and carry it home rejoicing.
This parable is given in the Bible:What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? Luke 15:4
We are like the sheep which has gone astray. We did not listen to the voice of the almighty God but went our way doing what is convenient for us. We do not worry how we become rich if our goal is only to become rich. Being over ambitious, we trample others to attain the highest position. We use bribes to get things done. These are the things which God hates he expects you to respond to His call and turn away from the sinful ways. If you do He will gladly carry you on his shoulders and do not have to worry about your burdens. Will you accept Him today?
The Bible says,We have turned, every one, to his own way. And the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53:6). Because we refused to obey His voice the Lord took up all our iniquities and placed on himself when he was crucified on the cross. Though he did not sin, yet he was crucified for our sins. This shows his greatest love for us.
What will be your reward when you return to the Savior?
The Bible says,"And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away" (I Peter 5:4). Exactly, our life does not end here in this world. We have life after, where we shall receive the eternal crown of glory.
You not only receive crown of glory in heaven, you shall be suitably reward here in this world. God promises to go before us, wherever we go and lead our lead. He says, he will neither leave us nor forsake us.
And the Lord, he is the one who goes before you. He will be with you He will not leave you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be dismayed.Deuteronomy 31:8
What more do you expect? He is standing at the door and knocking at the door of your heart? (Revelation 3:20) Will you allow Him inside your heart? If you do, He shall live with you and take care of all your needs.
God says,"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28.
If you are burdened with cares of this life, if you are in a state of utter confusion as to how to lead your family. The Lord is calling for you. He can relieve you of your financial problems, family burdens, sickness and anything which you are under going. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Will you do that today?
