"I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth " Exodus: 34:10 (KJV)
Called for Sanctification

He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ – I Corinthians 1:8

To have a full life, we need to have a goal in our life. Striving hard to reach the goal leads to constant renewal of strength within us. Reaching the goal brings happiness and health to the mind. Similarly, in Christian living our goal is to become like Christ. The first and foremost character of God is holiness. We, in order to become like Christ should strive hard to become holy and blameless before men and God.

Little yeast leavens the whole dough (Mathew 13:33). Similarly, a little sin within us spoils our entire character and makes us unholy. So, get rid of the sin and keep yourself holy.

Jesus said: "Holiness is attained through truth; the truth is the word of God" (John 17:17). By watching television and by reading unholy subjects, the essence of the programs or the articles seeps into our mind without our knowledge. Although we deny that we never get involved in what we see or read, but our subconscious mind records what everything. This may surface at the appropriate time and lead us into sin. At the same time if you read the word of God which is Bible, the verses in them will surface into our mind at the most appropriate time and console and prevent us from falling into the trap of satan. It will also change our character day by day.

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God – that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord" –
I Corinthians 1:30,31

Read the Bible everyday and grow in Him.

Holiness also comes through the baptism. How?

After accepting Christ as your Savior, you need to be separated from the worldly ways. When we become dirty we cleanse ourselves of dirt by washing with soap and water. No amount of perfume and talcum powders can remove the dirt. We need to take a bath. Baptism cleanses us of the sin. Therefore, baptism is the first step for holiness (Ephesians 5:26).

Next, sanctification occurs through the Holy Spirit (I Peter 1:2). Holy Spirit helps us remain holy. Holiness is not a one-time process; it is a continued process wherein our mind gets renewed everyday. When we get away from the ways of God, Holy Spirit convicts our sins, so that we repent and return to God.

May God himself, the God of Peace, sanctify you through His blood and preserve you Holy by His Holy Spirit.
