Q. I find someone in India, nice guy and he loves God too, but i have a big problem how i know he’s for me???.

A. Dearly beloved in Christ,
To know God's will for your future, it is found in The Bible.

A word of caution: Indians are normally conservative. If you are not of Indian origin, it is going to be tough gaining acceptance from the guy's parents. Marriage is not about you and him. It is about both families too. It is better to get married into your own kind who is a Christian.

The Bible says it is not good to touch (have relationship with) the opposite sex until they are married.

Pray about the prospect, ask God about your decision. Will God honor your decision, has the decision taken in flesh.(physical feelings, infatuation) God bless.

Q. Is it a sin if we smoke after bapatism???.

A. When you smoke, you hurt your body physically and your soul spiritually. Yes it is a sin whether you smoke before or after baptism. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, where God resides.

But the good news is that you need not be stuck in the guilty feeling all your life. You can receive the gift of forgiveness from Jesus for free when you come to him with a broken/sorry heart. He will definitely set you free from sin lest you live/die in condemnation.

After baptism life does not change in a second as been taught, it is a process that will go on till life ends or Jesus comes. Every time you commit sin, but if you are truly sorry for your weakness, you can come bodly to the throne of Grace.

We pray God that He will set you free from the weakness. May God bless you.

Q. Is it neccesary to study the Bible word for word?.
Min Josh, Mindle, KA, USA

A. More than studying the Word, it is important to meditate and apply it in life. The WORD is Jesus. When you apply Word (Jesus) in your life, you life is safe in His hands and others will be blessed thru you.

The Bible in Psalms 119:9, says "yound men shall be cleansed by the Word" and in Psalms 119:105 says "Word is light unto our paths".

Thank you for writing to us. God bless you.

Q. Dear pastor, i am a worship leader in my church. I feel scared sometimes when evil possessed person behave in the church when praying. How to overcome the fearness?

A. Do not allow satan to put fear in you, as you are washed by the blood. The Bible says, Submit to God, Resist the devil and he shall flee from you.

Let the Word of God be your confidence, as the Bible says, The One in you is greater than he in the world.

If you are afraid, till you grow up spiritually, do not lay hands on the devil possessed. If the person disturbs the service, you may slow down the worship tempo or ask volunteers to remove the person to the back of the meeting or you or your pastor can command the devil to be quite in Jesus Name.

May God bless you and i pray that God will give you the spirit of sound mind and not of

Q. I have a friend who shares with me many things, this one was something serious once in a while he visits porn sites and then feels very bad about that in what way i can help him after telling me for some days he is not talking to me even if i try he is avoiding my contact even through phone he is one of the leader in church and in office.

A. Satan's new way of deceiving God's children is thru internet. To help him overcome the problem with prayer kindly tell the following to your Christian friend.

It is common nowadays to recieve obscene pictures thru mail sent thru friends. you could not wish them away. When you sense the contents of the mail will be or would be obscene just delete from your inbox.

Always open sites which you would be comfortable with people around. Think that your mother or sister is around you. Move out of closed cabins or rooms. At home you could shift the computer to the hall or where family would walk around. Life is all about making choices. To defeat the devil you need to take strong actions. There is nothing to beleieve that this habit would go away with time.

Involve in church ministries during the week and not only on Sundays. If your friend loves Jesus he needs to hate the world and devil.

Q. Can you please tell me how can i improve my faith with god?

A. No quick fix solutions. You need to dwell on the Word of God to develop the faith.
Meditate on in day and night. Psalms 1:2 The Bible verses should be in your heart. Attend a Word preaching church.

Q. Dear pastor why is it that so many so called men of God ask for money from men when it should come from God says in his Word ask him not men do you call that faith? blind faith is what I would call it when I pray I pray in secret then God will honour his word taste and see that the Lord is good when I pray I ask father God in the name of Jesus last word God looks at your heart. , Sheila King .

ANS :God promised man that He would give him anything that he asks in His Mighty Name. But so many so called men of God ask money from men when it should come from God. This is because they have WEAK faith in their Lord Almighty and not blind faith.

Q. Dear Pastor, We are having our difference in beliefs and I hope you can give us some insight on this question... I know that we have a TRULY Wonderful God and feel that once you are saved you are always saved.. My husband on the other hand feels just the opposite.. I also feel that once you are TRULY SaVED and washed in the Precious Blood you will always keep your focus to the Lord no matter what... Dawn Wimley, Huntland, USA

ANS: Salvation is a Gift from God and this gift is given only to His chosen people. This Gift(Salvation) has to be protected and saved. Salvation is not permanent for everyone due to lack of faith and lack of love and thirst for God. The only way to protect our Salvation is to protect our holiness & have right relationship with Lord Jesus Christ.

Q. We all know that Jesus was the Son of God. Could he have sinned being in this world? Please send detailed information. Bible says Jesus knew no sin. It is true he was tempted by satan to sin, but he chased the satan away saying get thee behind me satan, it is said in scriptures thou shall not tempt your Lord. Chery Bhai, Tiruvella, Kerala, India

ANS: Jesus is not a Human being. He is the Almighty. He has every right to command Satan & Sin to go away from Him. Throughout the Bible, History of Jesus speaks that He condemned Sin and chased Evil spirits. He came to the world to save sinners and do the will of God. So Jesus knew no sin.(refer:John:8:46).

Q. I am a Christian who has right relationship with God. Should I seek the words of other servants of God when God speaks to me directly when I pray and I read His Word? Should I accept the word when spoken to me by another man of God saying, "Thus says the Lord..."?. Joseph DS, Chennai, India

ANS: God may speak to you through prayers and through His words. But sometimes it may be your own imagination that you feel as if God speaks to you. So every time you cannot predict whether God only speaks to you or it is your mere own imagination .The words of the Pastors and prophets who are strongly faithful in Jesus Christ & who have experience in their holy life can be taken. Or else it should be neglected.

Q. Pastor there are some that believe that we go right to heaven when we die and others that think that we sleep until the coming of Christ, it seems the churches can not keep together in their thinking about the Bible, and sometimes it makes me wonder what will really happen when we die, and even makes me a little scared at times. I have lost a lot of loved ones in the last few years and that is really hard on me, I struggle with my faith and wonder if I am saved as I always thought I was, I want to be really right with God that is very important to me, but I sure could use some help from others. Sandra Smith, CA, USA

ANS: People who have led a holy life in Lord Jesus Christ will go right to paradise and not to heaven after their death. Nobody has the right to step into Heaven until the Judgement Day comes. But people who have led a sinful life will wander about as spirits on earth till the Day of Judgement comes. So according to a mans Deeds on earth, he wil be judged whether to be taken to Heaven or pushed to the everlasting Fire, The Hell.

Q. Dear Pastor Please explain: 1. Baptism by water 2. Baptism by Holy spirit 3. Baptism by Fire. Palani Sellappa, Sydney , Australia

ANS: Please Refer: Baptism by water: Matthew: 3:6 Baptism by spirit: John:3:5 Baptism by Fire: Matthew:3:11 / Luke:3:16 / Luke:12:49.

Q. Who is 'Nabi Muhammad'?. Please explain how should we observe him in the perspective of Christian faith. I would appreciate, if you can highlight some Bible connotation to support your explanation. V.B. Johnson Victor, Rawang, Malaysia

ANS: God Said to the people of Israel in Exodus:20:3,4,"Thou shalt have no other God before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in Heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth." When God has given us a strict command like this, a true follower of Christ should Focus only on God and need not bother about anything else.

Q. Pastor I have the question that I need to ask you, it about being gay. Why does one have feeling for the person of the some gender. Why do you even find powerful man of God still having this kind of the problem? lastly how can it be solved?. Muke Mkhize, Cape Town, Africa

ANS: Actually that kind of feeling is nothing but Satanic power. It can be solved only through Fasting, Prayers, Faith, Bible reading, attending church regularly and having intimate relationship with God.

Q. Are the Seventh Day Adventist cults? Why?.Sheeba

ANS: Yes, seventh day Adventist are cults. This is because they have their own kind of Faith. They wont move here and there even if Christ comes.

Q. In the book 'HE CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVE FREE' by REBECCA BROWN it is written that when we pray for others our human sprit goes out of our body for spiritual war, that is why we become tired after intercessory prayer. Can you please explain this? Sheela Bala

ANS: This statement should not be believed nor should be taken in account unless and until you find anything about this in the bible. People may write hundreds of books and say thousands of statements in their own imagination. They cannot become true. Even due to physical weakness we may become tired after sometimes. So unless & until you find anything about this in the bible, you should not bother about it.

Q. If a non-christian tell me that we are worshiping 3 gods (father, jesus and holy sprit), how should i answer him back that all 3 are one? Thomas Samuel, Banting, Malaysia

ANS: The Almighty God created the whole world. God showered His Love & Affection on His people & blessed them. But the people forgot their Ancestral God & buried their hearts in the happiness brought by sins. So God sent His Son Jesus Christ to the world to save sinners from their soul being destroyed from the Hell through Mary, whom He selected. This was predicted even in the old testament. Jesus was crucified as a sacrifice for our sins so that we may be saved. Accordingly in John:14:16,17, Jesus said "And I will pray the Father ,and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever; Even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, & shall be with you". Thus all Three are One.

Q. Dear Pastor, Please tell me if it is right for a true christian to marry a divorcee. He is a believer & insists he will marry only a girl having faith in Jesus. He says that his divorce was a test & he has only grown stronger in his faith. Manju Job, Bangalore, India

ANS: If a person is faithful to God and then has divorced, it can be taken in account. If he is still God fearing, regular to church activities and faithful to God he can be married. Or else he should not be.

Q. Hi pastor, today 29/3/2002 (good friday) every christians remembering the crucification of jesus christ but Pentacostal group not remebering the crucification of christ. why?. M. V. Mathew Varghese, Dammam, Saudia Arabia

ANS: Remembering the crucification of Christ on Good Friday is not wrong. The only thing is that it should not be celebrated. The date & month are not exactly accurate. They are calculated just on assumption. So pentacostal group generally do not remember the crucification of Christ.

Q. 1) Do baptism is necessary for salvation? 2) Some churches following child baptism is it right? Jeemon Mammen, Bangalore, India

ANS: 1) Yes, Baptism is very much necessary for Salvation. 2) Child Baptism should not be followed as nothing is mentioned about child Baptism in the Bible.

Q. Dear pastor, in this world there are lot happenings which seriously doubt the existence of God., eg., WTO massacre where innocent people are killed. please explain. G. Mohandos

ANS: Our Lord Almighty is THE ALPHA & OMEGA and THE BEGINNING & THE END. God is there. So only we have been saved, washed in His precious blood, seen miracles and are blessed. Others are the Deeds of Satan.

Q. Dear Pastor: I am from USA and I go to an American Pentacoastal church here. I am from India basically. You must be knowing that most of the Americans believe in "Slaying in Spirit". I strongly don't believe in that. You also must be knowing that some Americans call slaying in spirit as Journey through fire and the supporting verse is Mathew 3:11. They believe slaying in spirit means getting filled with fire. Can you explain to me what that word "fire" means? Thanks and hope you understood my question. .

ANS: This kind of act is a very evil thing. There is no such a record in the Bible. Interfering in those kinds of things is a Satanic Job. Be protected and careful in Christ.

Q. Pastor will god forgive even prostitutes if they want to live a holy life but what about the guilt that kills them looking forward for your reply thankful.

ANS: According to Ezekiel 18:21,22,23,27 God wants sinners to repent for their sins and turn away from their evil ways. Also in John: chapter 8, Jesus forgives a prostitute but warns her not to sin again. So all you have to do is to CONFESS your sin & LEAVE it. Remember, Do not turn back or think about it .Instead fix your focus on Lord Jesus Christ and have intimate relationship with God. Then you will be saved.

Q. I am having doubts in the coming of Jesus Christ and after that what happens? Shanly Abraham, Chennai, India

ANS: As surely as you are living in this world, the coming of the Lord is sure. The Bible says that no man will ever know the day or the time of His coming. We have been hearing about the coming of the Lord from the days of the disciples of Christ. People have lost interest in the second coming of Christ. Bible clearly depicts the end days, "Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built. But on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the son of man is revealed (Luke 17:20-37). Today, everyone is too busy to spare sometime to even think about the second coming and eternity. Surely, a day will come when Christ will come with thousands of His angels and the billowing of trumpet and whosoever is prepared at that time will go with him. Ultimately, we will all live for eternity praising our Lord. Read the book of revelations to get more insight into what happens after second coming.

Q. Hi Pastor, Wearing ornaments (gold, silver...etc) is a sin according to bible or not ?If it is not wrong, please explain me why it is not wrong. If it is Okay, please explain me why it is okay. This is for my knowledge. have read Bible, but not found the exact answer yet. Please answer me. Peter John, Bangalore, India

ANS: There are several verses in Bible which is against wearing jewels. Some may be disposed against what the Bible says. It is for us to understand its meaning and accept the Lord’s decision as final.

The following are some of the Bible verses which are against wearing jewels:

Say unto the children of Israel, Ye [are] a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb (Exodus 33:1 – 6).

When Jacob returned from Laban’s place and back to his fathers place, on the way before Bethel, he asked everyone to remove their ornaments and buried them.

And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which [were] in their hand, and [all their] earrings which [were] in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which [was] by Shechem (Genesis 35:1 – 4)

Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire (James 5:2,3).

Whose adorning let it not be that outward [adorning] of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, [even the ornament] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price (1 Peter 3:3-4).

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works (1 Timothy 2:9-10).

Q. What is the best way for a young Christian lady to court a man. And what should look out for when looking for a born again brother? Adeola Otubs, London, UK

ANS: Bible says. "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness."
(II Corinthians 6:14-18). It is good for you to look out for a person who is baptised, filled with Holy Spirit and lead a righteous life. Only such a person would honor the marriage vows and stand by you through thick and thin. Fear of the Lord makes a person to flee from sin and stay loyal to each other. Read also Question 27.

Q. How does one react when God does not answer prayers over a period of years. Should he stop praying for it or should he continue praying. We know that God knows all our needs even before we ask. So what do we do? Oliver, Dubai

ANS: God’s answer for prayer can classified into three: yes, no and wait. Although "yes" and "no" answers are easily understood by everyone, it is hard to understand the "wait" answer. Waiting may be for a period of a day or years together. In Bible, we read that Joseph had to "wait" for 13 years for the fulfillment of his dream. During the waiting period, God makes us strong in faith and also makes us worthy to receive the desired wish. Along the waiting period, Joseph had to undergo several sufferings. He was sold as a slave, falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife and put in jail. Through all these sufferings, he emerged as a man-filled with Holy Spirit, who was capable of interpreting dreams, manage Potiphar’s house, become a warden in jail and also give advice to the king. When you wait upon the Lord patiently, you learn valuable lessons which otherwise would not be possible. Joseph was a pampered child of his father. He could not have managed the king’s affairs if he was made second to king immediately after he had the dream. It was indeed necessary that he had to wait for 13 long years.

God’s plans are perfect, if he asks you to wait, it is for your own good. Be patient and continue to trust in the Lord.

Q. You have said that God has asked us to be fruitful and multiply. Well, may I ask you this question......if a couple is not blessed with a child, should we understand that God has cursed them ? Why ? People having children are culprits and theives.....are they a blessing to the couple or are they a curse? Joe Jose, Dubai

ANS: God always wanted us to be fruitful and multiply. According to Bible there are various reasons for a couple not to have children. One of the reason may be due to the sins of their fore fathers. The Bible says, "I shall ask the sins of the fathers even up to fourth generation." At the same time the Lord said some curse are brought on men to the glory of the Lord. When the curse is removed by the Lord, those who see it shall glorify God and shall come to Jesus.

Having children as culprits or thieves does not mean that they are a curse. Instead it only indicates the way in which the parents had brought them up. Bible says, we should lead our children in the righteous way even when they are very young. The fear of the Lord should be instilled in the minds of the children then they will not leave even when they grow old.

Q. Hi Pastor, How would I know as to when am I sinning against the Holy Ghost, which is unpardonable. Emilia Fernandes, Kuwait

ANS: Bible says there is a sin against Holy Ghost which is unpardonable. Although no particular sin is pinned down as the unpardonable sin, we know through several verses that resisting the Holy Ghost is unpardonable. After knowing Christ, the Holy Spirit leads us in the righteous way. Bible says "Sin shall not have dominion over us" (Romans 6:14). Therefore, whenever we are tempted to sin, the Holy Spirit would tell us, the way in which we are going is wrong. If we heed to it then we shall be saved. If they do not listen to the words of Holy Ghost and continue to remain in sin then woe for such a person. Because it will be difficult to revive him/her back to Christ.

The Bible says, "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the son of God, and put him to an open shame" (Hebrews 6:4-6)

Q. Hi Pastor, In Mathew 5:38 it has been said "you have heard that it was said 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I say to you do not resist an evil doer". etc. I have often wondered about this phrase, if I have to practically imagine a situation where a person is stealing, raping, murdering, should such a person not be resisted or does it mean one should be tolerant to their evil? Could you please enlighten me on this phrase. Emilia Fernandes, Kuwait

ANS: The Lord loves the sinner but not his sin. Jesus said that He came to save the sinners. Loving sinners does not certainly mean that we should tolerate their sin. Murder, rape, stealing are sins which are to be condemned. For this reason, we have the police and the court. When someone personally wrongs, we are to pray for him/her and show our love to them so that they will be ashamed of their evil nature against us and see the image of Christ in us. Jesus said show your other cheek also when someone slaps on one of your cheek. It means that through our love and patience we should win them over to Christ.

Q. Where should i give my tithes? in my local church or any gospel work?
Ebey Jospeh, Kottayam, India

ANS: Tithes should be given to the church where you have accepted Jesus as your personal Saviour. Where the Pastor prays for you still now, where you can depend
for prayer, Tithes are given to God. And God bless you according to Malachi 3:10.

For Gospel works you can give offerings, but should not be mixed with Tithes. Do not split tithes and give it to different people or churches. Apart from Tithes, if you would like to contribute to various ministries, you may do so from the offerings
and not from the tithe. If you are not in India or far from the home church,
you may send the tithe to the Pastor thru cheques or Money Orders. (read Q.3)

Q. Men & Women in Christ (so called believers) when seek marriage proposals, look forward for believer's only. Why a believer cannot marry a non-believer and vice versa? Is that a sin for a believer to marry a non-believer. I am troubled in my heart regarding this point, can u please..... Simpson, UAE

Men & Women in Christ (so called believers) when seek marriage proposals, look forward for believer's only. Why a believer cannot marry a non-believer and vise
versa? Is that a sin for a believer to marry a non-believer. The Bible clearly says in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with
darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

I think that the above verses clearly demarks us from marrying the unbelievers. But if you are already married with a unbeliever, do not separate. The Bible in 1Corinthians 7:10-16 "And unto the married I command, [yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from [her] husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be
reconciled to [her] husband: and let not the husband put away [his] wife.

But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her
not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace. For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save [thy] husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save [thy] wife? Read also Question 33.

Q. Dear Pastor, Is it true that the world will end soon? Every place where Christians have been assaulted in India such as Gujarat, Orissa, Anekal in Karnataka have experienced natural calamities. Isn't this proof of God's hand in defending his people? Name undisclosed, India

ANS: Yes, it is true that the world is going to end soon with the second coming of Christ. Jesus told his disciples and others who had gathered to see the ascension to the heaven that the he would come back one day the date and time of which no man shall but Father alone. The Lord is at hand. Philippians 4:5. Behold, I am coming quickly! Revelation 3:11.

It is certainly true that God is defending his people through manifestation of natural calamities. Read the passage in The Bible from Mark 13: 5-13, you will read what are the signs of the end of world, how the children of God will be persecuted, how the Holy Spirit will help and guide them and what happens later.

So, What is your role in the expansion of the kingdom of God? You should convict the world of sin and make them to understand the love of Jesus. This is exactly what we are trying to do through website and newsletter. Since we know that Jesus would come back soon and that this time as a judge, we want at least some of them to be saved and added to the list of saints and their names in the book of life.

As we who know who Jesus is and have tasted the everlasting should not be careless but tell our friends and neighbours about Christ. May the Lord give you grace to proclaim this truth to others.

Q. Dear Pastor, How can I keep going with the God always and receive blessings from God? Antotoms, Mechanicsburg, Pennselvania, USA

ANS: In these last days, it is extremely difficult to walk according to the ways of the Lord. Because "your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" I Peter 5:8. Therefore, the Bible advises us to resist him and be steadfast in faith. You can resist him only if you know the verses in the Bible as the back of your hand and constantly have good fellowship with God through prayer. Mark what you read in Bible and claim the promises through prayer. Bible points out your follies and advises you on how to overcome the temptations. May the Lord help you to read the Bible and pray everyday.

Q. Dear Pastor, I have a question (sensitive) that I am asking after much meditation. Is it wrong to use birth control? In old testament, God's people never used it, and had many children. I also like that, but am afraid, because no one in church today have many children. also have 1,2,3,4 or max 6. But bible says Children are a blessing. If they are a blessing, why should be say no to them. Should finance say anything in this. Or in this age, does God not care for us to have more children. I want more christian examples in this, as I am weak in this.thank you in the Lord. Becky Roosa, USA

ANS: God always wanted us to be fruitful and multiply.
Genesis 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Genesis 9:7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
Birth control is not indicated even once in the Bible. This suggests He can take care that which he brings forth into the world. The Bible further says in Matthew 6: 26, "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Due to financial constraints, family problems, mothers taking up a job has led to late marriages and postponing the birth of child and using birth controls. If you wish to have more than one child, remember God is able to take care of all of them.

Q. Dear Pastor, I want to study in detail about St. John. His life and teachings, apart from the bible. Kindly suggest some good books. and it's availability around chennai. Bala Subramaniyan K. , Chennai, India

ANS: St. John lived in this world during the First century. Only The Holy Bible can tell you details about St. John. No other book can give you much information. If available will only be abstracted from The Bible.

Q. Please explain me 1 COR 14 : 27 Dose it mean that if there is no interpreter in he church then no one should speak in tongues ? Robin, Anand, India

ANS: The answer is in the same chapter verse 14, 15 and 28. If I pray in tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. When there is no interpreter, the Bible says to remain silent and let him speak to himself and God. It is by His Grace that God has given us to speak in tongues. It is the communication between the inner man (Spirit within you) and Holy Spirit. It really does not matter if you don’t understand the tongue. Romans 8:26 says the Spirit maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Q. Dear Pastor, In Acts (chapter 4) all Christians brought their goods and sold and joined the apostles, is this is an example for us, or just for them? Is it wrong to own things. Jesus said 'sell all your stuff and give it to poor'/ how is it possible? please explain. Thanks. Becky Roosa, USA

ANS: This is an example for every Christian to follow. The first century apostles and the believers followed the same. But the question is that is that practical now? What happens to me? How do I survive? The answer is you can join the church only if there is a calling for you for the ministry from God and give all that you have to the church. Otherwise find out a genuine church (may be only few around in the globe) who is really in service for the poor and needy and give your offering to God as the Lord’s speaks to you.

Q. Dear pastor it is wrong for women to wear pants? i know there is a verse in deuetronomy. but should we follow it today? thank you - Becky Roosa, USA

ANS: Deuteronomy 22:5 says "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man....are abomination unto the Lord.
Revelation 16:15, "Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
2 Corinthians &:1, " Dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Zephaniah 1:8, " I will punish....all such as are clothed in strange apparel.
The Holy Bible stands for ever. How we wear is what that matters. We should be covered with all modesty. Do not wear clothes that are revealing, and that which show your nakedness and which distracts others. Most important is how you are at church services.

Q. Dear Pastor Daniel,Greetings to you in our precious name of Jesus Christ.Kindly explain the following verses to me, especially the words "morning star":
1. "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! ......." - Isaiah 14:12 (KJV)
2. "I am the Root and Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star." - Revelation 22:16 (KJV)- Brother Daniel Lim, Malaysia

ANS: Isaiah 14:12 refers to fallen morning star and apeaks about Lucifer (Satan) who fell from heaven and Revelation 22:16 refers to bright and morning star, who is Jesus, The Everlasting Light. For ye were sometimes in darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: Walk as children of Light. (Ephesians 5:8)

Q. a. Christians hear about Jehova, Elohim, God, Father; Christ, Jesus, Immanuel; spirit, holyspirit etc. If we have this much of name for God, what is the meaning of only one God we have? and there are many more names given for God in the Bible., Brother Jotyr, Chennai, India

ANS: You will have to go through the Bible. It will give you more revelation about the names. We find some names in Isaiah 9: 6, "And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Exodus 3:14 "I AM THAT I AM". Yet it is the same only God. He is all in all. It is nothing but calling God using various attributes.

b. Which bible part emphasize the "trinity"? Do we want that word? By using this, Christians are confused now.

The whole Bible teaches us about trinity. Matthew 28:19, "Go, ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the son and of the Holy Ghost;". A caution from Colossians 2:7,8, "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."

c.According to John.1:1-2...who was it, that was in the beginning with God? Is it holy spirit?

Jesus was in the beginning with God. According to John 1:14, the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. The person of God who dwelt among flesh (humans) was Jesus.

d.In John.1:14..who was the word that became flesh, and also the begotten father? Why not we say it is the holy spirit?

Holy Spirit is a spiritual being (person) of God. Jesus came in flesh and blood.

Q. Pastor I want to know whether we should gain souls by showing our love or to condemn them when they sin because most of the christians including pastors sins nowadays freely by witnessing all these ugly things how could a single soul be saved. can pastor do anything before the lord. I think the pastors should be a living testimony before the lord and the belivers. What is your answer? Agatha Nehemiah

ANS: Yes, we should gain souls by showing our love. Love has more pulling power than condemning. At the same time gently pointing out to them that continuing in sin will bring eternal death. The Pastor has to be a testimony before the church and society. You should not condemn anybody. It is God’s judgement. We read in 1 Samuel 24:6, that David spareth King Saul’s life, because he was anointed of the Lord.

Q. Hi pastor! how are you? I am confused about the issue of salvation. the pentecostal church of Isiah 58 teaches that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is enough for salvation. Is it true? What is the meaning of the water baptism? Will all Christian be able to say I am saved? please explain. Bro. Raven Paul Ram, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

ANS: According to Matthew 3:5-6, 13-16. You will have to take baptism.

Verse 6 says "And were baptised of him in Jordan confessing their sins".

Verse 16 says "And Jesus when he was baptised, ….and he saw the Spiirt of the God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him".

The meaning of water baptism(immersion) is when you are in water it means you are dead to sin and when you rise up again it means that you are now a new being freed from sin. Read Romans 6: 3,4. Jesus himself took water baptism. So we follow him.

Q. Dear pastor, greet U in the name of the lord. I'm just a small child in the knowledge of christ. my 80 years old mother who is a Jehova's witness have some arguments with me, saying that I'm in a wrong way. what could U tell me on that. thank U brother in christ, Sister Dalles Dalima, Oslo, Norway

ANS: Your 80 year old mother’s faith is wrong. Jehovah(Father) is the one who sent Jesus(son) into the world to save sinners.(John 6: 38, 39). Even before his crucifixion, Jesus said I will not leave you alone, I will send a Comforter(Holy Spirit) to comfort you. (John 16: 7, 13)

Q. I am a Christian. I thank God that He always answers my prayers soon. Others ask me the question "How come when you pray God answers and when I pray He does not?" I am confused. What kind of answer shall I give? Please help me. Brother Raven Paul, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

ANS: Psalms 1:2 says that "His delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night." Go through the Bible every day and Lord will speak with you. Lead a life that is pleasing to God both is body(physical) and spirit(spiritual), lean on him for everything. Follow His commandments, He will definitely answers your prayers.

Q. As said in Ezekial 34: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 whom does god refer in these verses? what do you think of it? Sister Ruth Solomon

ANS:God speaks about the disobedient shepherds(Pastors). Nowadays we see them everywhere.

Q. Pastor, I want to know about "being born again" what is being born of the water and the spirit? when does this happen? Is it when u first accept Jesus as Saviour? or is it when you are "water baptized"? or is it when you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit? or is it when u change your attitude in life? Bro. Raven Paul De Cruz, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

ANS: Water Baptism according to Matthew 3:5,6. You will have to obey immersion water baptism. Being born again experience is detailed in John : 3. Except a born be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Being born of water is Immersion baptism after confession of sin. You take baptism only after receiving Jesus as your personal Saviour and born of Spirit is the experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Q. Ask, I will give you, And Other word says that before asking God knows your needs. What these means? Brother G.R.Suresh, Chennai, India

ANS: Ask means prayer. You have to pray until you receive. "Ask, and it shall be given unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth." Luke 11: 9, 10.

If ye ask anything in my Name, I will do it. John 14: 14.

Q. Everything's good; except, what you said about water baptism. Baptism won't save you, it just shows that you have been saved and are willing to follow Christ and declare it publicly to the world. Water has a far greater spiritual reference to the word of God than that of mere baptism. Anyway, perhaps I misunderstood your comments. God bless, Bro. Tony Broome

ANS: Water baptism brings to a person entire holiness. Please accept it.

The wages of sin is death. For all have sinned and come short of Glory of God. Except a born be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Dying to sin is the experience of being buried or immersion in water and rising from water is the experience is coming out of water as a new man.

"Ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man" Colossians 3; 9, 10.

Q. Dear pastor, l would like to get details on the subject title leadership qualities. Brother Ebi John, Madurai, India.

ANS: Read 1 Timothy 3: 1-7. A person can lead people only when he is blameless, husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach. Not an alcoholic, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre, but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity. Etc. These are basic qualifications.

Q. Can you explain to me about the significance of the prayer veiling in 1 cor 11? As a sister in Christ, should I wear it all the time or just during worship service? Should all of my head be covered or just a part of it is ok? Becky Roosa, USA

ANS: To your above question, I would like to give answer from the Bible.
The Bible says, "The head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, andthe the head of Christ is God. But every woman who prays or prophesises with her head uncovered dishors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved. For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn, But if it is shameful for a woman to shorn or shaved, let her be covered." I Corinthians 11:3-6. Reading further upto verse 16 clearly tells that every woman who wants to pray to god should cover her head. If she does not do so she is dishonoring her head which means dishonoring God himself. since the Bible is so explicit about this matter there is no two opinions about it.
Therefore, I advise you as a servant of God that you cover your head while praying which is just. Also when you cover your head it should be completely covered.

Q. Why Jesus is answering my prayer very late. Why he is helping others immediately after they but to me he always do miracles late? Ruth Diana, Selangor, Malaysia

ANS: This question is asked by many believers. Why does God answer my prayer late. When we are saved i.e. accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour, it appears that He is answering all our prayers immediately, but as the days go by our replies also gets delayed. But why?

There are some reasons for it.

In the early days of knowing Christ, we are very zealous for Him. Read Bible often and wait eagerly for the prayer time. Gradually the zeal reduces. Therefore, our Lord in order to bring us back to him, put some hurdles in our way so that we may call upon him and get closer to him. That is why our prayers are not answered immediately but make us wait for him.
Another reason may be that he wants to strengthen our faith. We are no more babies to drink milk alone. We should start eating meat and become stronger. Likewise, for our faith to be strengthened he answers our prayers late.

6. Can a person know what the will of God is in their lives?
Sister Lisa Whorley, Georgia, USA

ANS: Yes, The Bible says in Luke 12:29-32," And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom."

Luke 12:25,26, " And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?" Please read the following verse without fail. Acts 16:30,31, "Sirs, what I must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." When you submit your life to God and accept him as
your personal Saviour, He will definetely speak to you.God will reveal His will for you through visions, dreams, through the Word of God and even while attending the church. The Holy Spirit will instruct and guide you, then you will know the will of God in your life.

Q. How am I supposed to pray? Is there a certain position? Should I say certain words? Lisa Whorley, Georgia, USA

ANS: We are supposed to pray, just as children speak and converse with their parents. This is how you pray to God. Psalms 95:6," O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our Maker." Kneeling down and pray, shows our honour to God. Please attend any Pentecostal church, then you will come to know more about prayer and other doubts.

Q. Can you explain the unpardonable sin -- if a person is still searching for God is that a good sign that he has not committed this sin?- Marie Hansen, Blair,USA

ANS: The Bible gives a clear cut answer for your question in Matthews 12:30,31,"All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven, it shall be forgiven him, but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."

Therefore, any man committing this sin shall not be forgiven. Albeit there is a small iota of chance to those who have not yet known Christ that it may be pardonable to him when he confesses his sin and repent from his ways. According to 1John 1:9,"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Q. Do I pay tithe from gross (total) or net (after deduction) salary?
Sis. Helen Wilson, Chennai, India

ANS: Many belevers are confused about how to pay the tithe.
Deuteronomy 26 : 12 (KJV) "When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase."

Ezekiel 44 : 30 (KJV) "And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house."

The Bible says in Deu 26:12 and Eze 44:30, that you should pay tithe from all your earnings. It indicates your gross salary. The Provident fund, Insurance, loan, income tax etc. are the expenditures incurred from the gross salary. Therfore you should pay the tithe from the gross salary.

To make it easier, you can pay the tithe separately for the loan you take, provident fund, which you are being paid at the end of your service, pay the tithe on insurance at the time of its maturity and so on. Since you are paying tithe on everything separately, it would suffice that you pay tithe only from net salary.

Q. "Who is able to stand before the Holy Lord God ?"
1 Samuel 6 : 20 (KJV) Bro. Vincent, Chennai, India

ANS: Our Lord is a awesome God. No one with an unclean heart can stand before Him. Psalms 24: 3, 4 clearly give an answer for this question.

"Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in His Holy place?
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully."

Q. Pastor, please explain to me the following verse, Judges 5:16."Why abodest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks"?
Bro. Issac Swaminathan, Chennai, India

ANS: Psalm 78:52-54 (KJV) "But made His own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. And He led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. And He brought them to the border of His sanctuary, even to this mountain, which His Right hand had purchased."

Isaiah 40:11 (KJV) we read that "He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young."

In this verse, the sheep refers to the believers. Our Lord has stayed behind with the flocks to lead his sheep safely through the wilderness and protect them from all dangers. He does not want to leave them uncared for, but would like to hear their complaints, cries and praises. He will gently lead you and when you are weak in faith he will encourage you and make you strong. Ultimately, he will make you strong in his word
