Pastor Daniel was brought up according to Hindu traditions and customs by his parents. His aversion to studies forced his parents to join him in a Govt. bank at the early age of 13 as an office boy. He soon become a notorious boy and lived as he pleased. According to Ephesians 1 : 4, "We are chosen even before the foundation of world", he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour at the age of 22. His life changed dramatically thereafter. Seeing the changes in his life, his wife also accepted Christ into her heart. They both started serving the Lord with all their heart and might.

Christian life started for them from poverty. They could not give even one decent meal a day for their children. But from what they had, they liberally gave to the ministry of God. According to Proverbs 19:17 "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again." (KJV). His wife supported his ministry through much fasting and prayer. Many days she had to go without food in order to feed the ministers of God. They lived in a small house which was open both to sunlight and rain. According to Philipians 4:19, : "My God shall supply all my needs according to the riches in Glory",. Today God has blessed them both spiritually and materially.

Pastor Daniel started his ministries by distributing good news bible tracts (handbills) alongwith his office work. Several rich and well educated people were also touched through this ministry and accepted Christ as their personal Saviour. He used to preach in the streets; At times he was insulted, threatened and even pelted with stones. None could make him stop doing his ministry. Many hungry souls and drunkards knelt crying on the streets after hearing the gospel message.

He did not stop his ministry with this, but continued it by conducting prayer cell in many houses. Those houses were blessed abundantly and their neighbours also came to know of Christ.

Pastor Daniel resigned his lucrative job, Chief Manager of the Govt. bank and took up full time ministry. One night in 1991, he had a vision in which he was commanded to establish a church and name it as ‘Bethel’. Bethel Prayer House was started on January 1, 1993 with ten members which included seven from his own family. Gradually, the church grew in numbers.

At present there are 300 members in the church, most of them are from Hindu background. Every week, we witness the moving of the Holy Spirit in the church through songs, worship and sermons. God has raised several living testimonies, who have received physical healing, freedom from the bondage of sin and satan.

Thrice he has visited USA to do ministry. He had spoken in several churches and had given testimonies to glorify the Name of God. Pastor Daniel’s life is a living testimony. His life has been transformed from a poor and wretched condition to a blessing to hundreds of people.
